14 October 2009 - Have your say on our work
Imtac is currently in the process of developing our Work Programme for 2010/2011. We would like to hear about issues that make getting around difficult for you or your members. We will use this feedback to identify key areas for our future work.
Imtac can look at any issue that affects the mobility of older people and disabled people. Issues we can look at include:
- Travelling by bus, train or taxis
- Door2door, community transport and shop mobility
- Travelling by car, parking and the Blue Badge
- Concessionary fares
- Pavements, crossings and streets
- Accessing transport information
- Training for transport staff
- Transport in rural areas
- Health service transport
- Travelling by air and sea
You can give us your views on any of these topics or others in the following ways
- By phone or textphone on 028 9072 6020
- By email at info@imtac.org.uk
- By fax on 028 9024 5500
- Via this website at www.imtac.org.uk/haveyoursay.php
- By writing to Freepost RSBB-KBYS-AYYY, Inclusive Mobility & Transport Advisory Committee, Enterprise House, 55-59 Adelaide Street, Belfast BT2 8FE.
- By contacting Michael Lorimer to ask for a representative from Imtac to come to speak with your group/organisation
We are happy to provide any information in alternative formats or make any particular arrangements (for example provide a sign language interpreter) if this is helpful to you in giving us your views. We hope to have draft Work Programme in place by February 2010.
