The Department for Regional Development has launched a consultation on proposed changes to way public transport is run in Northern Ireland in the future. The proposals include forming a public transport agency which will take over many of the functions currently provided by Government and Translink.
This important consultations runs until February 2009. During this period the DRD are running a number of consultation meetings across the North. Details of the meetings and copies of the consultation documents (including an easy read summary) are available via the following web link:
