The proposed All Ireland Free Travel Sheme for older people will begin on the 2 April this year. Northern Ireland Senior Smartpass will be able to use their passes to obtain free travel on public transport throughout Ireland from that date.
Senior Smartpass holders are reminded to check the expiry date on their pass. If you do need to renew the pass the DRD has a helpline number 0845 600 0049.
