Imtac has highlighted the importance of more flexible or demand responsive transport services in making the transport system more accessible to disabled people and older people. The Committee has published a position paper on demand responsive transport. The paper is designed to be used by policy makers and transport providers and sets out key factors making services accessible to older people and disabled people.
