28 August 2007 Imtac welcomes new air rules

Imtac welcomes the introduction of new rights for disabled people when travelling by air.  From 26th July new European Air Rules mean that disabled passengers flying within Europe cannot be refused a flight because of their disability.

There are restrictions to the new rules.  They do not apply to all disabled people.  There is also no support available to disabled people making a complaint.  Further rules around access to air travel in Europe will be introduced next year.
