Regional Development Minister Conor Murphy has lent his support to the Baywatch Campaign by launching the Good Practice Guide to the Provision of Accessible Parking.
Speaking at the launch of the Guide at Parliament Buildings the Minister said "The Guide is aimed at Service Providers such as large supermarket chains, DIY stores and retail parks. It will help them to do more to provide well-designed accessible parking.
The Minister also used the event to reaffirm his Departments commitment to tackle the misuse/abuse of the Blue Badge Scheme on street and in Roads Service carparks.
