Imtac has published a paper designed to help Government and others make taxi services more accessible to older people and disabled people. The paper makes a series of recommendations highlightling issues such as the need for more taxi ranks, the use of taxis to deliver public transport and schemes such as taxicard that help with the cost of taxis. The paper also highlights the proposed changes to the regulation of taxis in Northern Ireland which should benefit older people and disabled people.
