Proposals to extend the Concessionary Fares Scheme to allow free travel on public transport for people who are aged 60 and over have been published for consultation by the DRD. If approved it is likely that the changes will be introduced by the end of 2008.
Imtac supports the proposed changes to the scheme and would encourage other organisations and individuals to give their views during the consultation. The Consultation will close on the 9 June 2008.
