People aged between 60 and 64 can now apply for their Smartpass for free travel on public transport in Northern Ireland.
To get the pass you must request an application form either online at www.drdni.gov.uk/index/smart60.htm or by telephoning 0845 600 0049. The application form will be sent to you which you must complete and sign. You will also have to get some else who knows you (not a relative) to sign the form and a colour passport sized photograph and attach it to your application form.
When you have completed the form and attached the photograph you must take the application along in person to your nearest applications centre. This may be your local Translink station.
Your Smartpass will then be sent out to you in the post.
