The Department for Infrastructure has published an Equality Impact Assessment on its resource budget allocation for 2023 / 24. The consultation outlines some of the difficult decisions that may have to be made because of budget reductions and seeks to identify the potential impacts on the 9 equality groupings including disabled people, older people and people with dependants.
Imtac shares the concerns of many people that budget reductions will make the lives of Deaf people, disabled people and older people much more difficult. We encourage everyone to take part in the consultation, highlighting what you think may be the implications if proposals are implemented.
